David is a passionate teacher who is committed to supporting students of all levels, whether that be as conductors, organists, pianists or those seeking to improve their musicianship and theory skills.

David holds an LRAM in teaching from the Royal Academy of Music and has taught students his whole career, whether privately or in group settings. He has worked as a tutor for the Eton Choral Courses, as a specially trained Musicianship Tutor for the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, and in higher education as a Visiting Lecturer at the Conservatoire for Music in Würzburg, Germany.

David is particularly interested in the all-round musicianship training of students, as well as integrating performance psychology into teaching to develop resilience and help students to cope with performance anxiety.
