On Sunday 19th March at St Botolph-without-Aldgate, East London, Myriad explored the work of poets throughout the centuries, in settings by Finzi, Britten, Vaughan Williams, Tavener, Parry and Stanford. The concert featured performance poet Dave Neita, who read poetry in between the works and finished with some of his own poetry. The concert was framed by two pieces by composer Deborah Pritchard. The final piece ‘Alight’, was a world premiere, featuring text written by Dave Nieta. For more information about Myriad, and reports of the concert from choir members, please visit the website here.
